ˇˇMARUMBAˇˇ

A Dallas/Fort Worth based marimba band formed in 2007 by Dana Sudborough. The group performs traditional music of Chiapas, Mexico. In addition the group has repertoire for classical and latin-jazz. The group uses Mexican marimbas (or Zapotecanos), bass and percussion depending on the performance (number of performers can range from 2-14).
